the pools at occidental are fantastic, especially the kids-only one! there's also a great spa for relaxing treatments. and don’t miss the three a la carte restaurants nearby for dinner. i had a nice drink served by the amazing alex, who was super helpful.

This place suits me perfectly! With excellent beach access, a lovely outdoor swimming pool, and great 24-hour security, I feel safe and relaxed. On my first stay, the staff assisted my elderly parents kindly, which I remember fondly. I'll definitely be back for another city break!

Can’t fault anything about it.

The beach access was incredible, and the sunset views from our balcony were stunning. However, the room cleanliness left much to be desired, with old mattresses and unvacuumed floors.

My stay was quite enjoyable, with amazing pools and stunning beachfront access, though I faced issues with housekeeping and a sometimes unhelpful reception. The themed restaurants offered some great dining options, but service could be much faster, especially at peak meal times.

The outdoor pools are exceptionally vast and well-maintained, perfect for a refreshing dip. The beach offers pristine white sand, ideal for sunbathing or beach games, while the adult-only section ensures a peaceful atmosphere amidst the activity.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was painfully slow, taking over an hour and a half, which could put a damper on one's mood right off the bat. My room had a troublesome door crack, and the shower fixture detached from the wall during use. Further issues with the bathroom included a leaking ceiling and malfunctioning electrical outlets, which despite multiple maintenance requests, were not addressed timely. Additionally, I noticed a lack of variety during meals, as dining options became monotonous after several days.

The beach is absolutely stunning, like a postcard come to life! The pools are well-maintained and a blast, perfect for soaking up the sun. Plus, I had a fantastic drink served by the friendly staff. The local seafood spots nearby are a hidden gem, so don’t skip those!

Staying here for 4 nights felt disappointing due to the service and room conditions. Our suite offered a beautiful view, but it smelled of cigarettes upon arrival and had persistent issues despite attempts to resolve them. While the pool was lovely, we faced challenges with towel availability. Dining was hit-or-miss. the beef dishes were enjoyable, but the overall food quality at the buffet left much to be desired.

Hands down, the beach was the most stunning I’ve ever seen with crystal clear waters and soft white sand. The vibey atmosphere at the pool 💦 made it the perfect spot for relaxing between fun activities like the incredible spa services. But let’s not forget the amazing staff who treated us like family, always ready to serve with a smile! 🤗

Had an amazing time with friends! We loved chilling at the beach and the fun night life, especially at the club in the cave. The tennis court was awesome too! Perfect for a group getaway. Just keep in mind it gets crowded at meal times.

The room locks gave me a hard time. sometimes they just wouldn't work at all. It was a bit frustrating having to try a few times to get in.

It was just a reliable pick for spending a night in Punta Cana with good value considering the price charged. The beach was fantastic, perfect for relaxing with the family. Make sure to tip the bartenders. they work hard and really appreciate it.
